How my journey began
and how it’s going so far….

Welcome to JRC Professional Bookkeeping!

I am the proud founder of JRC Professional Bookkeeping with my bookkeeping journey beginning quite some time ago. I have always had a passion for accounting, numbers and administration type of work, having worked in the clerical field since leaving school in the early 90’s.  Once married, almost 22 years ago, I began carrying out bookkeeping duties for my husband's subcontracting business. 

This was a great way to fill in time around the young family we were creating and it quite honestly came as a welcome distraction to changing nappies! :-)

Soon after my youngest child was born in 2008, I wanted to expand my knowledge and build on the work I enjoyed, so I engaged in study to become suitably qualified to take on external clients requiring bookkeeping services.  This was a perfect fit, a job I could ultimately work around my family, enabling me to be present for all activities from parents day at kindergarten, to the first day of ‘big’ school, to helping out at fundraising events, attending school assemblies and sports days and all the fun and excitement in between.

So with my Diploma of Finance and Certificate III & Certificate IV in Financial Services under my belt, I reached out to local businesses and accountancy firms who could utilise my services.  This resulted in the official launch of JRC Professional Bookkeeping and the start of a long term working relationship with several clients.

Throughout my journey I have become a Registered BAS Agent as required and have also achieved Xero Advisor Certification. I have gained extensive experience working with a diverse group of companies, providing essential Bookkeeping and Administration services
such as, but not limited to:
